On this 3800 sq.ft. tear-down in a quaint Winnetka neighborhood, the clients did not want their brand new house standing out amongst the other older homes as new construction. They opted instead, to choose exterior finishes that would allow the home to blend in and complement their surroundings. An attractive exterior design was implemented using hardiboard siding, that is quite simple — but upon entering the home, you are transported into a totally different world.
No cost was spared and amazing attention to detail was used when designing the interior of this gorgeous home. Tray ceilings and beautiful ceiling beams were incorporated adding opulent and unexpected detail, and handmade picture-framed door openings were installed. The lavish bathrooms were fitted with high-end Newport Brass and Toto plumbing fixtures — while Ann Sacks tile artfully brought these spaces to life.
